Six travel rewards cards stand out in November 2026 for their welcome offers and range of benefits. The selection includes premium business and hotel cards, flexible travel rewards, and United cobranded cards at different annual-fee levels. Most offers require new cardholders to meet a minimum spending target within a set period.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business offers 200,000 bonus points after $30,000 in purchases during the first six months. Its benefits include travel perks and earning potential in select categories; social media and search advertising purchases earn 3 points per dollar, up to $1 million in spending per anniversary year beginning Nov. 15.
The American Express Platinum Card has a variable welcome offer of up to 175,000 points after $12,000 in purchases over the first six months. Eligibility and the offer available to an applicant can vary. The card also includes benefits such as airport lounge access and statement credits for participating merchants, including Walmart+, Lululemon and Resy, subject to their terms.
Capital One Venture Rewards offers 75,000 miles after $4,000 in purchases during the first three months, plus a $300 credit for hotel and vacation rental bookings through Capital One Travel in the first cardholder year. The card earns at least 2 miles per dollar on purchases and has a $95 annual fee.
For United flyers, the Explorer card offers up to 80,000 miles: 70,000 after $3,000 in purchases during the first three months, and another 10,000 for adding an authorized user within that period. Benefits include a first checked bag for the cardmember and one companion when the flight is purchased with the card, priority boarding and two United Club one-time passes each cardholder year. The annual fee is waived for the first year and is $150 thereafter.
The Hilton Honors Aspire offers 200,000 points after $6,000 in purchases during the first six months. Its benefits include automatic Hilton Honors Diamond status, an annual free night reward and up to $400 in annual statement credits for eligible Hilton resort purchases. The card has a $550 annual fee.
The no-annual-fee United Gateway offers up to 50,000 miles: 40,000 after $1,000 in purchases in the first three months, plus 10,000 for adding an authorized user during that period. It provides a way to earn MileagePlus miles on everyday purchases, as well as a 25% statement credit on eligible inflight purchases.
The value of points and miles depends on how they are redeemed, and the offers may have eligibility restrictions, including rules tied to previous card ownership or application history. Welcome-offer valuations cited by The Points Guy are based on its November 2026 estimates and may change.
