World of Hyatt members can use their points for more than hotel stays. Through Hyatt’s Find platform, they can also book experiences, including limited-time auctions where the package goes to the highest bidder. A recent Laver Cup auction illustrates how these offers can provide substantial value when they include premium event access and accommodation.
Three Laver Cup packages included two single-session tickets to the tournament’s Legends Club, a two-night stay in a River View room at Park Hyatt London River Thames, round-trip transfers between the hotel and the venue and airport, a £300 hotel food-and-beverage credit, and a 60-minute massage for two, subject to availability and advance booking.
The winning bids were 81,583, 120,560 and 160,000 World of Hyatt points. The article estimates each package was worth between $5,000 and $8,000, before assigning a value to the transfers. That estimate includes the cost of Legends Club tickets, Park Hyatt accommodation, the massage and the food-and-beverage credit.
At The O2 in London, the Legends Club offered priority entry, courtside seats, food and drinks, and a question-and-answer session with tennis player Andy Murray. The author described the hospitality area as a significant upgrade over a standard ticket.
The article compares the auction results with The Points Guy’s October 2026 valuation of 1.65 cents per World of Hyatt point. At that rate, the winning bids were valued at about $1,346, $1,989 and $2,640. Using the lower end of the estimated package value, the redemptions worked out to roughly 6.1, 4.1 and 3.1 cents per point, respectively.
For comparison, a standard award night at the Category 8 Park Hyatt London River Thames costs 35,000 to 75,000 points. Two nights can therefore require between 70,000 and 150,000 points, meaning the two lower Laver Cup bids cost less than two award nights at the top of that range.
Find also offers experiences at fixed prices, but those may not provide the same value as auctions. In an auction, members bid points for a limited-time package, and the highest bid wins. Listings are generally found in the platform’s limited-time experiences section, where members can check the current bid, closing time, dates, inclusions and eligibility requirements.
Bidding is restricted to World of Hyatt members, and every bid is binding: it cannot be changed, withdrawn or canceled. A winning experience is nonrefundable and cannot be canceled. Members who do not use an experience forfeit it and will not get their points back. Hyatt advises bidders to review each listing’s terms and ensure they have enough points before placing a bid.
Results are not guaranteed to match the Laver Cup example. Popular events can draw heavy competition, and the final price may rise quickly. Members can set a personal limit in advance and stop bidding if the cost exceeds what the experience is worth to them.
The article says the 2027 Laver Cup is scheduled for Sept. 24 to 26 at the Intuit Dome near Los Angeles, with Hyatt as the event’s official hotel partner. Hyatt Find auctions for the tournament may be listed closer to the event.
